Winter Skin Care

Winter not only blows away summer enjoyments; it also takes the moisture away from our skin. When you are constantly exposed to cold temperatures, dry wind and warm indoor heating, the skin needs to stay hydrated and moisturized so that it won't get dry, red, itchy, flaky and old-looking.

To protect your skin during the winter months, drink water regularly and treat your skin to a deep moisturizing skin treatment at least once a week. Also keep your winter skin care regimes consistent with shortened showers or baths and make sure to use eye cream and lip balm on a daily bases. This will constantly replenish the skin with rich moisture, leaving it healthy, bright and looking its best.

When you are exposed to the cold weather make sure to dress in layers and wear a hat, scarf, gloves. In addition, always remember to wear sunglasses to protect your eyes from harmful UV rays and to prevent the appearance of wrinkles around the eyes area. Also it's extremely important to get plenty of Vitamin C by eating plenty of fruits and vegetables to keep your skin healthy.
