Grape Seed Oil Skin Care

Grape seed oil is made from the seeds of the vitis vinifera grape, the most common wine-making grape in the world. Grape seed oil is a type of vegetable oil that's pale green in color and virtually odorless. Grape seeds oil is produced when dried grape seeds are pressed under extreme heat. As a result of this process, grape seed oil has a high-resistance to heat. Grape seed oil has no cholesterol and little saturated fats; as a result, it is often used to make marinades, salad dressings and baked goods.

I have been using grapeseed oil on my entire body in place of lotion for years. I have not experienced and accelerated hair growth or growth in areas where hiar should not be. I am a female and would certainly notice such a phenomenon. Other essential oils like rosemary, peppermint and such are thought to stimulate hair follicles when rubbed in daily, but personally I think the massaging action is what does it.

Grapeseed oil is good for promoting anit-aging skin, but i have also read that it promotes hair growth as well, so wouldn't using grapeseed oil on your face cause unwanted facial hair?
