Sensitive Skin Care

Sensitive Skin Care - choose your skin care products cautiously Those with sensitive skin must choose their skin care products very cautiously.

Sensitive skin is delicate, dry and prone to allergic reactions. Sensitive skin is much more prone to skin irritations caused by harsh soaps and cosmetics that contain alcohol or synthetic fragrances then other skin types.

Sensitive skin on the face will appear thin and dry, and the veins will often be visible. Sensitive skin is the most unpredictable during extreme temperature changes. During the harsh cold and the extreme heat, the face will often turn red and blotchy, dry, flaky and itchy.

I recently overcame some awful skin problems. I saw a dermatologist, an allergist, as well as 3 primary care physicians. It boiled down to having sensitive skin. Immediately I went out and bought sensitive skin replacements of all of my products. I now use the following products: unscented Dove Body Bar as my cleanser, Aveeno Intense Repair Cream as my moisturizer, Purpose as my facial cleanser, and unscented Dove deodorant. My skin has been "normal" for 2 months now, with only a slight return on my elbows due to recent stress. I think the real life saver was the Aveeno Intense Repair Cream, it truly moisturizes for 24+ hours, and my skin feels amazing. Hope this helps someone!

The skin on my arms and legs burn when I put on body lotion. It's so hard to find a body lotion without fragrances. The itching and burning are so uncomfortable. Gold Bond lotion helps, but is still not enough. Any suggestions? Thanks, Nancy
