Burt's Bees Skin Care
Burt's Bees was started by Burt Shavitz, a beekeeper who made his living from selling honey out of the bed of his pickup truck north of Bangor, Maine. His partner, Roxanne Quimby, was a hardworking waitress and a single mom with 3 kids. She supplemented her living making handmade beeswax candles. After the duo made a killing at a local junior high crafts fair and bake sale, they began to take the business more seriously.
Today, Burt's Bees is based out of Raleigh, North Carolina. Its wide product line covers skin care products that will pamper you from head to toe. Combined with pure beeswax, botanicals and other natural essential oils, Burt's Bees products include hair treatments, lip balms, clay masks, hand salves, cuticle creams, body lotions, foot creams, soaps and candles. If you're looking for reduced Burt's bees products, consult a representative about purcashing damaged products. These items may be reduced because of packagin defects, but actual Burt's Bees products are never considered cheap.
