Intense pulsed light (IPL) technology, also known as photo-facial rejuvenation, is commonly applied to remove unwanted hair, treat broken blood vessels and diminish spider veins.

Similar to laser light therapy, intense pulsed light targets the skin cells beneath the surface, without hurting the upper layers of the skin or surrounding tissues, and encourages the production of new collagen. As a result, wrinkles are diminished, fine lines are less visible and the skin becomes tighter and smoother.
