Anti-Aging Skin Care
As the body ages, skin cell turnover slows down. This decrease in fresh cell reproduction, plus due to the lasting effects of sun exposure, gravity and years of smiling, frowning, chewing and squinting, the skin's elasticity - especially on our faces - begins to break down. As a result, fine lines, crow's feet, age spots and wrinkles appear on the thin areas of our hands, foreheads, around the eyes and mouth, and on the cheeks and neck.
Understandably anti-aging skin care is a multi-million dollar industry. The most popular anti-aging skin care products include non-invasive anti-wrinkle creams, skin lightener products and skin tightening creams.

Most non-invasive anti-aging methods include creams that are specially formulated with ingredients thought to help induce blood circulation underneath the skin's surface and provide extra nutrients to the skin - therefore extending and repairing skin elasticity.
However, some individuals are willing to take almost any drastic means to keep their youth in tact.
Most severe quests for the fountain of youth include plastic surgeries such as:
|
Botox Injections Chemical Peels Dermal Fillers Detoxification of Skin Cells Face Lifts |
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Technology Laser Hair Removal Laser Resurfacing Liposuction Microdermabrasion |
Any type of cosmetic surgery can be risky and costly business, but when it's performed by a professional physician most are safe, fast and provide dramatic results. Regardless of your skin type, many in their early 20's use some type of anti-aging skin care product in their daily skin care regimen.

I think that the marketing of disposable skin products (ie. cleansing cloths) is outrageous. what a waste. How many landfill sites are filled with this stuff.

I have been using Mary Kay's new product, Even Complexion Essence, and yes I have definitely seen my age spots diminish- not 100% YET, but getting there!
And, the products are developed and manufactured in Dallas, TX. Last I checked, that IS in the United States. I have also seen lines & wrinkles disappear, & have softer & smoother skin! Good Luck finding anything that beats it- especially for the price!!

What do you think about the product Dremu that was on Oprah?

First, I would like to say...Mary Kay products DO NOT have anything for age spots. I sold MK, and I must say, besides ingredients from China, it is the worst product sold in the USA. It should never be allowed to make such claims, and you as an indepenent beauty consultant should know better than to make such a statement. They ( MK ) claim to have something to make the age spots lighter, but I sold it , and I know it does nothing of the kind. It is all smoke and mirrors, just like the company is. You would be better off going to Dillard's or Macy's and getting a real job at one of the Estee Lauder companies, that make their product in the United States of America.
