Acne Scars

Acne scars are the unsightly marks that acne leaves in its wake. Acne scars occur when one picks and pops pimples causing open wounds. Scarring is often left behind once the skin has healed.

Acne scars are often conspicuous on the face and back, so it's no wonder that they cause cosmetic concern. There are two common types of acne scarring, each defined by skin tissue's reaction to inflammation. The first type of acne scarring is caused by increased tissue shaping; while the second is acne scars caused by loss of skin tissue.

After I got rid of my acne, I had a lot of scars on my face which looked quite embarrassing in public. I tried Murad's scar treatment kit for a month but didn't find it effective at all. I was going through a very bad time with these scars. One day while searching online for scar treatment, I cam across zenmed. After reading through the testimonials on their site I felt a bit convinced to give it a try. I ordered the product online and after using it for two weeks, I could find my scar marks diminishing. I was thrilled at the pace at which it was healing my scars. After using it for a month my scars became almost unnoticeable. It was a wonderful experience with zenmed's scar and hyperpigmentation kit.

I am an African-American male who has been dealing w/ acne keloid for the better part of 15 yeras on the back of my scalp and back of the neck area. I have tried oral antibiotics, shots, and now topical steriods (Clindamycin 300mg/fluocionide gel 30gm) for the past several years. While the inflamation is under control, the back of my neck is covered w/ seemingly permanent dark scarring (that is not raised). I prefer to have a shaved scalp (bald). I do not use a razor per say, I use hair clippers. As such, in order to get my hair as close as possible, I have to cut against the grade. I try to cut my hair every 2 weeks. Should I let more time pass before I decide to cut my hair or is that a myth? What can I do to continue to contain the areas from getting inflamed (which rarely happens) and at the same time stop the scarring from occurring? Could you please email me back at gstink1995@msn.com

How do you get rid of acne scars? Or can you just not get rid of them. I have one or two right now and I have had them in the past and they do seem to go away after a long time, but, what if you want them to go away like, now?
