Proactiv Solution, the self-proposed "revolution in acne treatment", is offered through Guthy-Renker Co. The company was initially established by Bill Guthy and Greg Renker in Palm Desert, California in 1988. One of Guthy-Renker's partners, Sharper Innovations, located in North Vancouver, Canada, is the second largest distributor of Proactiv Solution skin care products.
Proactiv Solution promotes a three-step anti-acne system; which includes cleansing, toning and moisturizing. The oil-free Renewing Cleanser contains benzoyl peroxide and exfoliating micro-beads to penetrate pores deeply, so any excess oil or dirt that causes blemishes can be easily lifted and washed away.

if you ever go to buy this proactiv, which i highly reccommend, buy it on their site, it's soooo much cheaper than buying at a kiosk.
I paid $104 can at a kiosk and now pay $60 online

I am on my fourth treatment using Accutaine over a 20 yr period. No skin wash will help any kind of cystic nodular acne.....only drugs and once the skin has been cleared up then facials using microdermal abrasions will help keep it clear. I'm now 40 ad have tried Pro Active......for those with severe acne...save your money and invest in a good dermatologist.

Proactiv does work! I'm hesitant about stopping the product once my skin is 100% better because I hear stories about people's skin getting worse. However, if something is working for you while you're using it, who cares if you have to keep using it to prevent future breakouts, ey? At least it works!

Proactiv in SAN DIEIGO (CA) can be found at the Fashion Valley Mall. There is a vending machine located at the level below the AMC movie theaters. You simply pay w/ your credit/debit card. I believe UTC and North County Fair have a Proactiv kiosk where you can also purchase the products. Most major malls probably carry the product.

It really worked for me. IEveryon'es skin is different so it won't be a miracle cure for everyone. But, if you're lucky enough to have proactiv work with your skin, you'll never use anything else. I stopped using it because I wanted to try another "hot" product and it totally messed up my skin!!! I'm back on proactiv and my skin completely cleared up again.

IT WORKS. Sadly though, if I stop using it for a couple of weeks, my complexion worsens... llike it was before I used proactiv. I have found that I can't substitute other elements either- i.e. I can't use a Neutragena toner. You need at least the 3-piece set and you need to use it for atleast a month. My skin becomes so smooth and pimple/cyst-free. It really is amazing and well worth the price. If my skin does dry out, I apply a non-proactiv super moisturing lotion only to those areas that are dry. That does the trick. My only complaint is customer service/ billing- sort of unpredictible.
As a side note, I too love the refining mask. The chemicals (sulfur) actually kill the bacteria- use this like a zit cream if you have a pimple... off-label usage :).

Seriously, this works. I have a lot of ance scars on my face, not many pimples, and i find that the "refining mask" helps DRASTICALLY reduce the size of my pores and scars. The only thing is that the next day, my pores are the way they were before the mask. :( My skin is definately cleaner...not just cleaner LOOKING, and i feel great about myself...oh and if your skin is drying out, youre using too much toner and/or renewing cleanser. those two are meant to dry out your skin. the revitalizing toner is meant to put moisture back into your skin. when i use the system (and this helps the dryness) i put the toner on the dryest spots of my face first. i have done this for the past 4 days, and i no longer have dry spots!! :)
n e ways...good luck to all..but do note, you have to use this EVERYDAY TWICE A DAY for it to actually work, AND you need the REFINING MASK. :o)

It works if your stick with it. My skin got worse after the first 2-3 weeks, but then got drastically better. If you stick with it, it is a great product. Although it does dry my skin out a bit. But I dont wear makeup anymore.

my friend told me that it doesnt work, so she empties the bottles and got a full refund. people have diff skin types, such as a range from oily to dry. maybe that is why ur skin is peeling? ... to me this product seems like a scam... but i dont know anything else that can help with acne... so i think im just going to buy it

I have used pro active for 2 years no results yet and now I am using the extra strengh and it's breaking me out and making my face peel.I talk to a representative and they told me to use it only once a day.I'm not peeling but I still have breakouts why do some people have results and why do it fail others.

Proactive has ruined my daughters completion The Customer Service is hard to deal with, and returns HA HA. Before buying check out Infomercial Scam.com.

i have been a customer for about 6 months. although i love your products, I have found any wash cloth or towel I use on my face after applying your product has ruined my washcloths. each one has streaks that look like I have bleached them. I bought a new washcloth, washed my face with proactive and rinsed it. then patted it dry with the cloth. that night the cloth was ruined. has anyone else complained about this?
